The Turkish Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, through Communiqué no. 2008/20 of 14th of June 2008, imposed a provisional anti-circumvention measure on Chinese imports of split-system air-conditioning machines consigned through Malaysia. Three Malaysian producer/exporters are exempted from the provisional measure since their exports are verified to be of Malaysian origin. Turkey had imposed an anti-dumping duty of 25 % on Chinese imports in July 2006.
